Automatic renewal: Creator plans are subscriptions. By subscribing you authorize My Course Academy to charge your payment method the plan price on a recurring basis — every month for monthly plans, or every 12 months for annual plans — plus applicable taxes, until you cancel. Your first charge happens at checkout and renewals occur on the same day of each billing period at the then-current rate. Cancel or change your plan any time from Account → Manage billing; cancelling stops future charges and keeps Studio access for 30 days. After that grace period your courses and videos are permanently deleted from My Course Academy and from our video host, and students lose access — so give your students notice before you cancel. By subscribing you also accept the Creator & Seller Agreement (revenue share, payouts, refunds and clawbacks) and the Terms of Use.
Questions about course hosting
- What does it cost to host my courses?
- Creator plans start at $29 a month (or $290 a year) for Starter, with Pro at $79 and Studio at $199 a month. Yearly billing saves about 17%. Each plan includes video storage and monthly student viewing, and you can cancel any time.
- Do I keep my revenue?
- Yes. You keep 85% of every course or bundle sale; My Course Academy keeps a 15% platform fee and covers card processing, video hosting and streaming out of it.
- What's the difference between the plans?
- Every plan has the same teaching tools. Higher plans add more video storage and monthly student viewing, and Pro and Studio unlock course bundles.
- What do storage and viewing minutes mean?
- Storage is the total length of video you can upload. Viewing is how many minutes your students can watch in total each month. If you go over for two months in a row, we'll ask you to upgrade.
- Do I get my own storefront?
- Every plan includes your own branded storefront page with your logo and courses, plus an embed snippet and QR code so you can share it on your website and marketing materials.
- Can I sell bundles?
- Pro and Studio creators can package several courses into a bundle at one price. Students who buy a bundle get each included course.
- How do students access my courses?
- Students pay once per course and get unlimited on-demand access for as long as the course remains on the platform, with progress tracking, quizzes and certificates.
- What happens if I cancel my plan?
- Billing stops and you keep Studio access for 30 days. After that grace period your courses and videos are removed and students lose access, so give students notice first.
